Spooky story night

Oh do I have a fun idea for you on this spooky week of HALLOWEEN.
Find some spooky stories.  You can find plenty of great spooky stories by searching the web.  Print off a few.  There are also great books full of stories at your library and if you are supper creative you could make up your own.
Get ready for bed.  Climb into your sheets.  Turn off the lights.  Use a spooky light of some sort (glow sticks, flashlight covered in red fabric, etc) to read your stories to each other.

Throw in a little "flare" to the night by both wearing vampire fang teeth or wigs.  You could also decorate your room for a little more of a scary atmosphere.
Even if you are not scared in the least, be sure to snuggle closer at the scary parts.
If nothing else you will for sure get some great laughes together.
Have a haunting time!!!!!

Love note book

Here is a fun idea to last more than a night.  Get a cheep note book from the store and designate it your "Love note book".  Get something you will both recognize as " The book".   One of you will start by writing a note, a poem or drawing a picture.  Put the notebook somewhere your lover is sure to see it.   On or under there pillow is always a good spot.  They get to open and read the message, then take their turn and do the same for you.  Notes don't have to be written back right away.  Sometimes it is really fun and really rewarding to put a lot of time and thought in to it.   Day's or weeks can go before the notebook turns up.  This way it is a fun surprise when you get it.
If you keep the fun going for a while you will end up with a cherished memento of your love.
To give you an Idea...
One of the entries in "Our" love book is a picture of some birds sitting in a tree. I wrote.. " I'm glad we built our nest together"

Fall leaf drive

Fall is beautiful, in and of it's self, it is romantic.
Take a drive to a near by canyon or meadow where there are lot's of trees.  If you are crunched for time, the kids are in beds asleep, or a canyon is a little far off,  you can do this in your very own back yard.
Have a leaf scavenger hunt.  Find a yellow leaf a red leaf a polka dotted leave, a red veined leaf, etc.  You will be amazed at how many different varieties of leaves you can find.  Find the most beautiful one and save it as a memento.
Through leaves up and at each other, make piles of leaves and lay in them.  Cuddle in the leaves as you look above and watch even more leaves fall.  if leaves are not falling in big numbers, count the leaves as they fall.  make estimates of how many will fall in one minute.  Shake branches of leaves down on each other.  See how many you can knock out of the tree with rocks and see who can score higher. use your imagination and come up with other things to do in the leaves and I'm talking about G-rated things people :)  have fun together and don't forget to smooch now and again.

October bedroom decore

Every now and again in is real fun to decorate your bedroom, your together place.  I have all kinds of fun idea's for this, but for the month of October, take a night and hang some fall leaves from the ceiling right above your bed.
Light some candles and place them inside some outdoor lanterns.

Put the lanterns on a  side table or dresser.
You very quickly have a romantic surprise for your spouse.
Make a night of it and have a yummy dessert planned that you can eat in your bedroom.

Halloween fortune telling fun

Set up a small table with fancy fabric table cloths.  Drape fabric around for a lush curtain look.  For Halloween you need to make it a little mystical, intriguing and spooky.  Set it up together or before hand for a suprize.  Turn light's down for the right mood.

Get out some dice, playing cards and a crystal ball.
Assign a yes/no/maybe/of course/ask again/etc. answer to a number on the dice and list them on a paper.  Use the dice to answer yes/no questions.  For example.. ask question, shake dice and it lands on 4.  the assigned answer to #4 om the dice was No.

For the playing cards,  heart represents love, spade represents Health, diamond represents money and Clover represents children.  Put the stack of cards in the middle face down.  Have the one getting fortune read to pick a card.  Make things up as you go.  If they pick a 4 of diamonds, they will make a fortune in 4 years, or 4 coins will enter there pocket.  etc.   If it is a 8 of hearts,  in 8 minuets they will get some lovin ( make sure this fortune comes true ),  Or they get 8 kisses. etc.  make sure each of you picks plenty of fortune cards.

Get a crystal Ball (anything clear and round, glass bowl works good)  draw a picture or a note for the one getting fortune told them slip it under the glass.  Rub the ball "together" he he and let the sweet fortune be told.

Take turns being the fortune teller or do it all together taking turns at each step.
Finnish the date off with a few yummy fortune telling treats.  Fortune cookies is a fun one.
ENJOY!!!!!

a little more romance- put out some candles.  Read each others palms.
