Special Cake Occasion

Do you have a special occasion coming up with your lover? Or do you just have a sweet tooth.  Create a cake together!  Bake it and frost it and cut it and eat it.  all in the same evening.  Make love notes in frosting and they don't have to be on the cake.  He he he.  Enjoy each other!

Pieced dinner date

Did you all have a wonderful Valentines day month??  a month of love??  My month was so full of love that I didn't even have time to post a creative date idea for the big day.  Not really, just got busy.   But I'm back with a super fun idea for ya.
IMG_9567cIf you spend most of the day away from each other ( I do ) promise to meet up with each other for diner somewhere.  You could meet at the park or even home.  Each of you buy or make fun parts and pieces for a dinner.  You could split dinner by saying you'll take dinner and your lover is in charge of desert. Or, both of you bring a variety of finger foods to share.  Meet and share your dinner surprises with each other.  It'll be really fun to see the meal you come up with.  Enjoy!!!

Park

Oh my, doesn't this one sound fun.  This is something that is so legal after you are married.  Take advantage of that.
Go on a drive, find a nice place to park that overlooks something great.  There are a lot of pull outs on a canyon drive near my house that are so beautiful.  In the evening we sit and watch as the city lights appear below.  Find somewhere like that close to you.  You could go somewhere over looking a lake or a field.  maybe you could be there in time for a beautiful sunset.  Turn off the car, talk and enjoy each other.  You could stop at a drive up somewhere before hand and get some ice cream shakes to eat in the car.  Of course you should  make out a little, and above all, enjoy each other.

Spooky story night

Oh do I have a fun idea for you on this spooky week of HALLOWEEN.
Find some spooky stories.  You can find plenty of great spooky stories by searching the web.  Print off a few.  There are also great books full of stories at your library and if you are supper creative you could make up your own.
Get ready for bed.  Climb into your sheets.  Turn off the lights.  Use a spooky light of some sort (glow sticks, flashlight covered in red fabric, etc) to read your stories to each other.

Throw in a little "flare" to the night by both wearing vampire fang teeth or wigs.  You could also decorate your room for a little more of a scary atmosphere.
Even if you are not scared in the least, be sure to snuggle closer at the scary parts.
If nothing else you will for sure get some great laughes together.
Have a haunting time!!!!!

Love note book

Here is a fun idea to last more than a night.  Get a cheep note book from the store and designate it your "Love note book".  Get something you will both recognize as " The book".   One of you will start by writing a note, a poem or drawing a picture.  Put the notebook somewhere your lover is sure to see it.   On or under there pillow is always a good spot.  They get to open and read the message, then take their turn and do the same for you.  Notes don't have to be written back right away.  Sometimes it is really fun and really rewarding to put a lot of time and thought in to it.   Day's or weeks can go before the notebook turns up.  This way it is a fun surprise when you get it.
If you keep the fun going for a while you will end up with a cherished memento of your love.
To give you an Idea...
One of the entries in "Our" love book is a picture of some birds sitting in a tree. I wrote.. " I'm glad we built our nest together"

Fall leaf drive

Fall is beautiful, in and of it's self, it is romantic.
Take a drive to a near by canyon or meadow where there are lot's of trees.  If you are crunched for time, the kids are in beds asleep, or a canyon is a little far off,  you can do this in your very own back yard.
Have a leaf scavenger hunt.  Find a yellow leaf a red leaf a polka dotted leave, a red veined leaf, etc.  You will be amazed at how many different varieties of leaves you can find.  Find the most beautiful one and save it as a memento.
Through leaves up and at each other, make piles of leaves and lay in them.  Cuddle in the leaves as you look above and watch even more leaves fall.  if leaves are not falling in big numbers, count the leaves as they fall.  make estimates of how many will fall in one minute.  Shake branches of leaves down on each other.  See how many you can knock out of the tree with rocks and see who can score higher. use your imagination and come up with other things to do in the leaves and I'm talking about G-rated things people :)  have fun together and don't forget to smooch now and again.
